Description
With a rear-mounted Black Shadow MC-90 speaker, the open back Mesa/Boogie Widebody has an extended width to provide more interior low-end resonance while still emphasizing the signature sparkle and chime of an open-back design. It delivers full bass representation, solid midrange and that elusive high end “openness”, sparkle and transparency, ideally suited to the abundant high bass and authoritative mid-range attack of the Black Shadow.
IRs are recorded using three professional microphones: Shure SM57, Royer R-121 and Sennheiser MD421, each placed in six different positions: Balanced, Bright, Fat, Thin, Dark and Dark 2.
The pack also contains three additional recordings using Neumann TLM 107 room mics (Left, Right and Stereo) plus eight microphone mixes.
