The 4×12 Pack features three legendary Mesa/Boogie 4×12 cabinets: The Traditional Rectifier® Straight and Slanted cabinets and the Standard Rectifier straight cab.
The Standard Rectifier 4×12 is THE “oversized” 4×12 and designed to be the perfect companion to the high gain revolution created by the Dual and Triple Rectifier amps, providing thundering low-end punch and resonance which is perfectly tuned with the smooth, tailored midrange and articulate, clear high-end. An icon in heavy music!
Rectifier Traditional 4x12s are three inches shorter than the Standard Rectifier 4×12 (width and depth dimensions are the same). This slight size difference produces a tighter and more focused low-end response, while still delivering massive 4×12 punch and authority.
All three 4×12 cabs have had IRs captured while loaded with eight of the most popular Celestion speakers: Mesa Vintage 30, G12M Greenback, G12M-65 Creamback, G12H-75 Creamback as well as the Blue, Ruby, Gold and Cream alnico speakers for a total of 24 cab and speaker combinations.
Each Mesa/Boogie cabinet impulse response has been accurately captured with the same studio-standard microphones (Royer R-121, Shure SM57 and Sennheiser MD421) in the identical six positions as our principal range of Celestion IRs.
This offers 18 distinct tones for each cabinet/speaker combination, plus additional mic mix options. Each Mesa/Boogie cab has also been recorded with a Neumann TLM 107 room mic (in Left, Right and Stereo) for you to mix in as required and achieve your desired tone.
This range of Mesa/Boogie impulse responses are all provided in .WAV format for compatibility with the majority of DAWs and amp modellers.
