Mesa/Boogies Lone Star® Cabinets offer a true vintage vibe, balancing warmth and detail, whilst integrating plenty of punch and full sounding low-end. Each rear panel is tuned to maximise bass response, whilst retaining the sparkle and detail of an open back design. The Lone Star pack includes a total of 6 cabinets: 1×12 Lone Star 19 open back and closed back; 1×12 Lone Star 23 open back; 2×12 Lone Star open back and closed back; and the 4×10 Lone Star open back. Each cabinet is loaded with a variety of Celestion speakers so you can find the perfect tonal flavour for your sound!
All 6 cabinet have had IRs captured loaded with a variety of Celestion speakers, to offer a total of 43 unique speaker and cab combinations. These include the Vintage 30, G12M-65 Creamback, G12H-75 Creamback, G10-45 Creamback, G10 Greenback, Ruby, Gold, G10 Gold, Cream, Blue, Black Shadow MC-90 and G12H-75 Creamback.
Each Mesa/Boogie cabinet impulse response has been accurately captured with the same studio-standard microphones (Royer R-121, Shure SM57 and Sennheiser MD421) in the identical six positions as our principal range of Celestion IRs – plus an additional rear mic position for the open back cabinets.
This offers 18 distinct tones for each cabinet/speaker combination, plus additional mic mix options. Each Mesa/Boogie cab has also been recorded with a Neumann TLM 107 room mic (in Left, Right and Stereo) for you to mix in as required and achieve your desired tone.
This range of Mesa/Boogie impulse responses are all provided in .WAV format for compatibility with the majority of DAWs and amp modellers.
