The Suhr PT 2×12 (Pete Thorn’s signature cabinet) deliver a tight bass, with punchy, dynamic highs, as well as great balance and musicality from the Celestion G12H-75 speakers inside. It’s a tonal blend that’s perfect for blues and classic rock styles.
The PT 2×12 impulse response pack includes files for three well-known microphones (the Shure SM57, Royer R-121, and Sennheiser MD421) recorded in six different positions, resulting in six tone options for each mic – referred to within the files as Bright, Dark, Dark 2, Balanced, Fat and Thin.
This cabinet IR also contains recordings for a Neumann TLM 107 room mic, sampled in three positions – Left, Right and Stereo. There are also files for eight mic mixes, created by blending different microphones together. All files are in .WAV format.
