The Blackstar JJN-212 2×12 semi-open back cabinet has a combination of Celestion speakers to provide multiple tonal options; this IR library captures the smooth tone of the V-Type.
Meticulously captured using three top-quality microphones (the Royer R-121, Shure SM57, and Sennheiser MD421), each mic has been placed in seven different positions to offer a range of different tones: Balanced, Bright, Fat, Thin, Dark, Dark 2 and Rear.
The Blackstar JJN-212 2×12 semi-open back V-Type cabinet impulse response pack also contains (with a Neumann TLM 107) with Left, Right and Stereo options, as well as twelve microphone mixes.
This Blackstar cabs impulse response file is downloaded in .WAV format for use on a wide range of plugins and amp modelling software.
Are the room mics based on one speaker at a time or the combination V-Type plus G12T-75?
They would record the sound in the room, so by their very nature it would be a mix of the two different sources
