The Blackstar S1-412A 4×12 is an oversized, closed back, angled 4×12 cabinet constructed with finger-jointed birch plywood to produce the best possible tone. And when combined with four 16 ohm Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, this cab delivers a warm low-end, rich vocal mid-range and detailed top-end.
This Blackstar S1-412A 4×12 closed back cabinet impulse response features the recordings of three studio-quality microphones (the Royer R-121, Shure SM57 and Sennheiser MD421). Each is placed in six adjustable positions to give a huge range of tone options, named within the IR as Thin, Fat, Balanced, Bright, Dark and Dark 2.
Also included with these Blackstar cab files are three room mic recordings made with the Neumann TLM 107 in Left, Right and Stereo – as well as twelve additional mic mixes. The Blackstar S1-412A 4×12 closed back cabinet impulse response is downloaded in .WAV format for compatibility with most amp modelling software and plugins.
