The ENGL E412VGB 4×12 is a classic closed back, straight-fronted 4×12 cab with extremely solid 14-ply Siberian birch plywood construction. Loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, the E412VGB has a fat, full sound with warm mids, a cleanly defined bass and a refined high end which will complement higher power amplifiers for classic rock and metal tones, providing the perfect texture for lead lines, while remaining fully convincing in a rhythm context.
Ideal for use with a wide selection of heads including the Engl E610II Savage 120 MKII, Engl E645II Powerball II.
This pack contains cabinet impulse responses recorded with three professional microphones – the Shure SM57, Royer R-121 and Sennheiser MD421 – each placed in six different positions: Balanced, Bright, Fat, Thin, Dark and Dark 2 as well as three additional recordings using Neumann TLM 107 room mics (Left, Right and Stereo) and twelve microphone mixes.
All the cabinet impulse responses files are in .WAV format for compatibility with a huge range of contemporary plugins and amp sims.
