Description
The 1×12 open back Lone Star 23 extension cabinet balances a full sounding low-end from its rear-loaded speaker, with clarity and brilliance from its open back design. With its medium-width size, it’s a similar footprint to the classic WideBody 1×12, but comes with the style and tone of a Lone Star. Layered with the elusive high-end ‘openness’ you get from a 1×12 cabinet that gives the speaker a platform to truly sing; here it voices the Black Shadow MC-90s tight and controlled low-end and assertive highs that are superb at cutting through the mix.
IRs are recorded using three professional microphones: Shure SM57, Royer R-121 and Sennheiser MD421, each placed in six different positions: Balanced, Bright, Fat, Thin, Dark and Dark 2.
All IR files are .WAV format.
The pack also contains three additional recordings using Neumann TLM 107 room mics (Left, Right and Stereo) plus eight microphone mixes.
