Description
The 2×12 Lone Star open back cabinet combines punch and projection with vintage warmth. The rear-loaded speaker gives it extra punch, whilst its open back adds mid-scoop and sparkling top-end for a true vintage voice. This IR library captures the cab with the Black Shadow MC-90s tight and controlled low-end and assertive highs that are superb at cutting through the mix.
IRs are recorded using three professional microphones: Shure SM57, Royer R-121 and Sennheiser MD421, each placed in six different positions: Balanced, Bright, Fat, Thin, Dark and Dark 2.
The pack also contains three additional recordings using Neumann TLM 107 room mics (Left, Right and Stereo) plus eight microphone mixes.
All IR files are .WAV format.
