The Recto Pack features two Mesa/Boogie cabinets from their renowned Rectifier® series: the 1×12 and the 2×12 Horizontal. Both closed back designs, they offer the immense punch and low-end resonance that the Rectifier is famous for, making them a popular choice for those who play high-gain rock, metal or wherever there’s a need for heavy bottom-end.
Designed with the same cabinet depth as its bigger brothers, the closed back 1×12 cabinet packs a deep punch despite its compact size; fully capable of delivering the renowned Rectifier sound of 2x12s and 4x12s. The 2×12 Horizontal matches the dimensions of the bottom two speakers of the 4×12 Rectifier, which when paired with its closed back design and rear-loaded speakers, creates a sound so big that it could easily be mistaken for a 4×12. This makes it the ideal option for those looking for a cab with huge punch and projection but with a more portable footprint. Both cabinets have been loaded with a variety of classic Celestion speakers to offer a selection of tonal flavours.
Each cabinet have had IRs captured loaded with a variety of Celestion speakers, to offer a total of 18 unique speaker and cab combinations. Both cabinets have been captured with a Vintage 30, G12M-65 Creamback, G12H-75 Creamback, Ruby, Gold, Cream, Blue and Black Shadow MC-90. The 1×12 has additionally been loaded with a G12M Heritage; and the 2×12 with a G12M Greenback.
This range of Mesa/Boogie impulse responses are all provided in .WAV format for compatibility with the majority of DAWs and amp modellers.
