The Standard Rectifier 4×12 is THE oversized 4×12 by which other quad-box cabinets are judged. It was originally designed to be the perfect companion to the high gain revolution created by the Mesa Dual and Triple Rectifier amplifiers, providing thundering low-end punch and resonance which is perfectly tuned with the smooth, tailored midrange and articulate, clear high-end. This is Mesa/Boogie’s most popular 4×12 cabinet and an icon in heavy music! Complete with a quartet of G12M-65 Creambacks adding a modern vintage flavour to the legendary Mesa 4×12 sound: a traditional woody Celestion tone supersized with extra girth, growl and attitude.
IRs are recorded using three professional microphones: Shure SM57, Royer R-121 and Sennheiser MD421, each placed in six different positions: Balanced, Bright, Fat, Thin, Dark and Dark 2.
The pack also contains three additional recordings using Neumann TLM 107 room mics (Left, Right and Stereo) plus eight microphone mixes.
