Description
With a rear-mounted Celestion Ruby, the open back Mesa/Boogie Widebody has an extended width to provide more interior low-end resonance while still emphasizing the signature sparkle and chime of an open-back design. It delivers full bass representation, solid midrange and that elusive high end “openness”, sparkle and transparency augmenting the mellow highs and smooth, sophisticated midrange of the Celestion Ruby.
IRs are recorded using three professional microphones: Shure SM57, Royer R-121 and Sennheiser MD421, each placed in six different positions: Balanced, Bright, Fat, Thin, Dark and Dark 2.
The pack also contains three additional recordings using Neumann TLM 107 room mics (Left, Right and Stereo) plus eight microphone mixes.
