This 4×12 closed back option brings you the smooth, vintage tones of the Heritage G12M speaker, sampled with 3 professional quality studio microphones – the Shure SM57, the Royer R-121, and the Sennheiser MD421. Each mic has been positioned in 6 different locations, resulting in a range of tonal variations to choose from – Balanced, Bright, Thin, Fat, Dark and Dark 2.
The 4×12 cabinet has also been captured using a Neumann TLM 107 room mic in Right, Left, and Stereo positions. The 4×12 option also contains 4 microphone mixes (SM57+R-121, SM57+MD421, R-121+MD421 and R-121+MD421+SM57) each with a High Gain or Low Gain option, making 8 mix files in all.
These impulse response files are delivered in .WAV format and can be used with a wide range of popular DAWs, amp modellers and plugins.
